The Professional Side:


1965 to 1974 –

Farm and ranch worker at parent’s farm in southeastern Colorado.

Work included operation of large farm equipment for planting

wheat and cattle ranching.

  • 1974 to 1982 – Plant Engineer and Construction Supervisor for mining and milling operation in Greybull, Wyoming. Work included structural engineering design, supervision of instillation of concrete support footings, heavy steel construction, metal building erection, and welding crews.
  • 1982 to 12/31/2000 – Owner of moving and storage company in the heart of the USA. Company was started with very little start-up capital but now has annual sales in excess of $2,750,000. Company has approximately 50 employees, 8.5 acres of property, 30,000 square foot warehouse, 7 trucks that travel throughout the USA, and 10 local crews.
  • 01/01/2001 to 4/21/2006 – Consultant for International Business with a
    focus on connecting American businesses with foreign businesses.
    Founder of Global Business Success Foundation which is
    established to “Identify and develop Christian business leaders
    who will utilize the resources within their respective countries
    to fulfill the Great Commission”.

  • 4/21/2006 to Present - Purchased an existing business with 41 employees. The business is a machine shop that makes a wide variety of metal parts using CNC lathes and milling machines. Shortly after the purchase there was a building expansion to add 10,000 sq. ft. and the addition of new computers and software.

The Personal Side

Happily married since 1973 to Cindy Shotton, who worked side-by-side at the
moving company and is now pursuing a teaching career.
Three children including: Vince, a Mechanical Engineer, is
married to Andrea. They have one son, Jacob and one daughter, Emma
and they live in Broken Arrow. Shauna,
a CPA, is married to Travis Wortinger. They live in Florida and have
one son, Devin. Bryon, who works at the family company as a

buyer systems manager, is married to
Tamra. They live in Broken Arrow and they have one son, Caleb.

Hobbies and Interests:

Travel, Missions work, water skiing, church involvement, arm chair
quarterback, reading biographies about business start-ups
